Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why is your rosehip oil orange while others are yellow?
A: The deep orange color is beta-carotene (Vitamin A). Clear or pale oils have been refined and heated, destroying nutrients. Our color = potency proof.
Q: Can I see the lab reports?
A: Yes! Email us at hello@purebenioil.com with your batch number (found on the bottle bottom). We'll send the GC-MS report within 24 hours.
Q: Are your oils food-grade?
A: Some are (like lemon, peppermint), but we sell for cosmetic use only. Do not ingest unless working with a certified aromatherapist.
Q: Why do some oils cost more than others?
A: Ylang ylang requires 100kg of flowers for 1kg of oil. Peppermint needs 100kg of leaves. Rare ingredients = higher cost. We price fairly, not cheaply.
Q: How long do your oils last?
A: Carrier oils: 12-24 months when stored properly (cool, dark place). Essential oils: 2-3 years. We add batch dates to every bottle.
Q: Do you test on animals?
A: Never. All our products are cruelty-free and vegan. We don't test on animals, and neither do our suppliers.
